Port-to-port

In choosing the port-to-port option, you will arrange for the delivery of your fully packed shipment to a port of origin or warehouse facility in the case of an inland point (e.g. Chicago). Bloom International Relocations Inc. will designate the delivery point and arrange for ocean or air transportation to your destination country.

If you’re looking to keep your costs low, the port-to-port option is the most cost-effective way to ship. Please note that this option does require considerable effort on the part of the customer in planning, contact, and pickup.

Port-to-door

In choosing port-to-door, you will arrange delivery of your shipment, fully packed, to a port of origin or warehouse facility. Bloom International Relocations Inc. will arrange for ocean and air transportation to your destination country as well as the destination services. This includes normal customs clearance, delivery to your residence in the destination country, unpacking, and removal of debris.

If you feel confident that you can pack and load a shipment adequately, but may need more assistance in your destination country, port-to-door shipping is an ideal option for you.
